Circulation: Africa and its Diasporas

The Circulation: Africa and its Diasporas research group focused on migration to/from/on the African continent, and on the resulting circulation of objects, languages, and ideas between the continent and its Diasporas in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. It was active from December 2022 to May 2025.


Coordinators

The research group was co-led by Dr. Antje Ziethen, Associate Professor in French, Hispanic, & Italian Studies, and Calisto Mudzingwa Sessional Lecturer in Linguistics; African Studies.
